I love this week's Make it Monday technique at Papertrey Ink. It's one I've not tried before and I'm completely obsessed with the results.
There's nothing subtle about the colours I used - smoky shadow and scarlet jewel - but somehow the result is still gentle and muted. I know I'm going to be using this technique a whole lot. I used gesso as my base, because that's what I had.
