I'm going back through previous days challenges that I didn't get a chance to work on, until today. This card and envelope are for Lexi Daly's post.
I'm not great at cards for my nieces and nephews. They're always ones I throw together at the last minute. Same with all kid's cards really, which is why I've fallen back on a previous design and made the age number out of a series of smaller stamps, including and A for Amber, the niece who's turning 8 this weekend.
For the envelope I remembered the fancy A stamp from a previous stamp a faire set and used that as the start point. The flowers and grasses are from honey bees, and the rest of the name is made with letters from pencilgrams.
