MIM #291

Coming late to this week's challenge at Papertrey Ink.
My son is currently on a once-in-a-lifetime school trip to Honduras where they're spending their days doing ecological research on a marine reef.
The teacher who organised it deserves a medal, but she's getting a card.

I think this techinque would be very difficult without a stamping platform, but with one I was able to get the shadow on a very thin sentiment (Think big favourites #5).
I sponged over the top with tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans distress inks and then flicked on some water drops to make the watery background.
The "for the adventure" part is a mask and adapt combination of 2 sentiments from the Ahoy set.

  1. What a perfect card to give to your son's teacher. Wonderful ink blending too!
